HK’s P30 is a modern police and security pistol that combines function and safety. Ergonomic features include a special grip frame with interchangeable backstrap inserts and lateral plates, allowing the pistol to be individually adapted to any user. The frame has a Picatinny rail molded into the front. Its slide is one-piece machined from nitro-carburized steel with a corrosion resistant blued finish. The P30 utilizes ambidextrous dual slide and magazine release levers and extractor which doubles as a loaded chamber indicator and polygonal bore profile. The P30LS model has a longer slide, ambidextrous safety/rear decocking button, bobbed hammer, polymer recoil absorber “stop” bushing. Included are two backstraps, lateral grip plates and two magazines.
